Dr. John Dorland Griffith Exposed, Publicly, Finally

Dr. John Dorland Griffith, Star of the DBA X FilesAIG’s hired gun,

Thank you, Judge Jeffrey Tureck, for confirming what we at  American Contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan  have been saying all along about Dr John Dorland Griffith at the DBA X-files.

Dorothy Clay Sims you are a true American hero.

Your extensive knowledge on PTSD, your diligence and passion for justice has finally shown up this charlatan for what he is.
Thank you for the lives you will have saved, for helping  injured civilian contractors where very few will.

To those who stood idly by or even helped arranged for their clients to travel from five or six states away to see this bogus hired gun may you go down with him.

In light of this ruling, Case No. 2008-LDA-00287, we request  that all prior cases that were denied because of Dr Griffiths’ misleading testimony (notably ALJs Romero and Kennington who declared themselves so impressed with him in earlier decisions) be reopened so that justice can be done.

From the decision  Judge Jeffrey Tureck,

“In regard to Dr. Griffith, to put it bluntly, he was a terrible witness.

He was sarcastic, arrogant, argumentative and flippant, and often refused to answer the questions put to him.

On his own, he assumed facts for which there was no support in the record, and then offered his opinion based on these assumed facts.

For example, he assumed that the Claimant was at fault in the incident where his truck was shot at (e.g., TRG 142-48), that Claimant was worried that he would have to pay $17,000 to repair the truck (e.g .• TRG 35), and that Claimant was depressed due to his three divorces (TRG 48-49, 312).

He provided different answers to substantially similar questions throughout his testimony. As an example, his testimony regarding whether Claimant is malingering or exaggerating changed constantly, to the point that his opinion regarding this question is incomprehensible. See, e.g., TRG 49-53, 309-10, 317.

Further, he believes that anyone in Claimant’s shoes would be trying to collect compensation rather than
work, since he believes “no one feels like working
“. E.g., TRG 442.8

He also believes that if the Claimant actually was suffering from PTSD, the carrier would not be opposing the claim.
TRG 161.

Moreover, his medical judgment is clouded by his belief that PTSD is a highly overused diagnosis. TRG 317.

The full flavor of Dr. Griffith’s testimony can only really be appreciated by reading the
entire 490-page transcript and viewing the videotape of his May 8, 2009 deposition; but reading
pages 29-35 of the transcript would be a good starting point.

His bias against Claimants; his irrationality; and his unwillingness to provide a straight answer to a question; are exhibited throughout his testimony.

Dr. Griffith’s opinion in this case is not credible and has no probative value.”

So this raises the question of why Dr. Griffith, who indicates he is well off financially continues to work at the age of78.

Is it just good sport helping AIG deny injured contractors the benefits they are entitled too?

There is more to come on this weasel.  This claim is just the tip of the iceberg.

How on earth did this crook get away with killing his own kin for so long? Or were they ever?

He was the so called expert witness in the first (Gerald Talbot in 2004) DBA case of the recent wars on PTSD and almost every one after that for AIG, and caused countless others to be denied by the Covington Cabal who for some unknown reason got to hear the majority of cases early on.

Know that Griffith “implored” his psychologist sidekick Rubenzer to change Steve Thompson’s MMPI scores to make it look like he was faking, the evidence is out there but Judge Romero has still not done anything about this despite having been told about this by his counsel Nancy Cavey over one year ago.

She chickened out like all of them seem to do when it comes to the fraud exposed in the Thompson case that goes well beyond his claim including many others.

Kids falling to their death from balconies in your house do not help at all, sure you were intimidated, but don’t sell your soul without being upfront about it to the person you are pretending to represent.

Perhaps this was the real reason for chief judge Vittone’s early resignation, his job was to decide which judge gets to hear a case.

Could it be, just perhaps, that all our work made just a little tiny bit of a difference?

Lets talk, all of you amazing people on this blog.

    HAH!

At 78 this SOB was still trying to ruin people’s lives…WHY???!!!!

What possessed this “Dr.?” to lie, cheat, and steal (yes, those are all documented on the DBA X-Files website).

What will possess someone to do this? We probably will never know….

At least he has been put out of our misery…now if only the Covington Cabal would meet a similar fate….before someone else loses their life over their horrible decisions.

The psychiatrist in the Eysselinck case Carrol Brodsky of San Frasisco was 84 years old, he never testified for a claimant before in his life but only for big business.

I assumed they simply sell their souls to supplement their pension, but you anonymousonpurpose raised an important question, why did they really do it knowing full well that many people would inevitably die before being destitute without treatment and the meager benefits they after all earned?

As psychiatrists, they knew or should have known that this was a matter of life or death for as many as one-third of civilian contractors returning from the war zones.
I am not proud to say that i had to talk to one DBA casualty almost every night for two years to prevent him from putting a bullet through his head. He was not the only one.

Why? my take from the early ALJ decisions from Kennington and Price and Romero and Rossenow there is a profound contempt for individuals who where deemed ‘too weak” to fight the war, that and their survivors are seen as a drain on the companies these judges worship.

My guess is that everyone knows that the sods who actually fight the wars are from the lower class and the general gentile consensus is that if any of these brutes sustain a moral injury then they are disposable much in line with the old motto of the the serf has done his duty, the serf can go.

    make any sense, anonymous?

    Yes,

Unfortunately it does Daffodils….sorta like what is happening with our President and Congress ignoring the voice of so many Americans to STOP SPENDING! and being looked down upon as a ignorant “tea baggers”.

I really should have taken some advice recently and paid for my own treatment. The darkness keeps creeping back no matter how much I fight…I have had that same conversation with myself a lot…

I am trying…but my lawyers are not contacting me…nor is the BRB nor the DOL…it s getting harder and harder going through each day. Yes, you mentioned a man who lied and used non-existent evidence to make my life a joke and a travesty, he basically called me a money grubbing, lowlife, malingering, LIAR…these intelligentsia who look down upon the working man and consider them unintelligent and worthless..Yes Daffodils I see every day when I read about what is happening in our Government right now…it is mirrored by the DOL and the ridiculous decisions these men hand down from up on their thrones….

Don’t worry…I am too hard headed and have to see this through to the end…I will prevail one day!!!!!

Who runs the Oversight Committee now,for DBA? Anyone know? I’d love to fill the ear of the ‘man’, so to speak. I’m in the middle of this now, and if I get any poorer I will just blow away, as dust. There will be nothing left.

The Oversight Committee was working with the DoL until the Republican’s won the majority in 2010
Since then they have quietly dumped us
Last we checked the “investigation” was ongoing
Nothing has changed, this are getting ever worse

Do anyone know if this SOB drs, still working for this insurance company

    • defensebaseactcomp said

Yes, despite this doctor being totally discredited AIG is still using him. We have even more evidence on Dr Griffith but the attorneys on both sides, yes our own have been the worst, have so far managed to keep the case out of court where these lies will be made public.

I think the company that we work with and the isnurance company are comitting crimes by fabricating lies and writing false statement . employees don’t get pay, ITT is good and know for that.
